The London Emerging Artists Forum (LEAF) was a summer art forum organised by London Art Collective (LAC), aimed at supporting underrepresented artists, particularly Asian and ethnically diverse artists working in the UK, and providing guidance on career development. The forum brought together scholars, curators, art practitioners, and artists to share insights and discuss key issues facing emerging artists today. It offered an overview of artistic career development within a global context.

The 2024 London Emerging Artists Forum (LEAF) was curated and hosted by Nelson Qin. Joe Richards, Editor-in-Chief of M-A Space Between and Professor at the Royal College of Art, together with several artists who had established influence within the industry, were invited to participate in the discussion. The forum addressed topics such as how emerging artists can overcome creative anxiety and how they can navigate career opportunities within the UK art sector. It also provided an in-depth analysis of mainstream art market trends in the UK and the US, gallery representation criteria, and key pathways for artists’ professional development, offering young artists practical insights and valuable industry perspectives.
